JJ

JJ is a wiley male Bull Shark visiting the Shark Reef Marine Reserve.  JJ is short for ‘Jaws Junior’ and he was named for his broken jaw, the result of being hooked multiple times on fishermen’s lines.  He was given the name ‘Junior’ because we had an older male bull shark with a more severe injury and he was the original ‘Jaws’.  JJ’s antics always leave a lasting impression (and keep our heads on a swivel) making  JJ supremely special and a Shark Superstar.
